Scanned
Every frame model is laser-scanned from an original lens and kept on file. Yours is cut to that profile, accurate to a tenth of a millimeter.

Cut
Optical-grade polycarbonate, edged in our US lab to the original lens shape. Drop-in fit, no rim modification.

Coated
Anti-reflective and anti-scratch layers are bonded into the lens, and UV protection runs through the material itself.

Pop out the old lenses
Pull up on the top of the frame and down on the lower rim, then push the lens out. Some frames release from the front, others from behind. The frame is built to flex.
Press in the new ones
Start at the nose bridge and work outward until the lens seats with a click.
Wear them
Cameras, speakers, and touch controls live in the frame. The lenses are passive, so swapping them is no different than any pair of sunglasses.

Every listing is cut for one specific frame model and size, not a generic shape. Check the inside of your temple arm: the model code and lens width are printed there. If the numbers match this listing, it fits. Not sure? Send us a photo and we will confirm before you order.

Yes. On Oakley Meta frames the cameras, speakers, microphones, and touch controls all live in the frame. The lenses are passive, so swapping them is no different than changing lenses in regular sunglasses.

Yes. Single vision, progressive, and reading lenses start at $75: choose your lens options above and add your prescription when prompted. Bifocals are available on select lens colors, message us and we will set it up. Every prescription lens is covered by the 12-month warranty.

Installation is tool-free and designed to be done at home. Press the old lens out from behind, then seat the new one starting at the nose bridge; the frame is designed to flex. If anything feels off, stop and message us before forcing it.
