SHOT IN OUR US LAB
We custom-craft replacement lenses for the eyeglasses and sunglasses you already own. Single vision, progressive, or readers; clear, tinted, polarized, or photochromic. Every lens is laser-cut to your prescription and fitted to your frame in our US optical lab.
Takes a few minutes online. Nothing ships until you're ready.
Every lens we cut is made to your script. Pick the type when you order.
Clear is one choice of twenty-one. Available options depend on the lens and prescription type you choose.
Ready? Pick your path.
Not sure which lens type you need? Ask our team.
Will your frames work?Pick the closest match.
Yes. Metal frames re-lens cleanly, and your hinges and nose pads stay untouched.
Yes. Acetate takes new lenses without trouble. We warm the frame, seat the lenses, and inspect the fit.
Usually. Rimless mounts depend on the drill pattern, so send us a photo and we will confirm before you ship anything. Ask our team.
Sometimes. High-wrap curves limit which lenses fit, so send us a photo first and we will tell you straight. Ask our team.
Your favorite frames, in a box, headed to a lab you will never visit: that is the whole objection. So here is the whole process. One technician team logs your frames on arrival and stays with the order until it ships back. And if your frames are lost or damaged while they are with us, that is our responsibility, not yours. Coverage terms [placeholder].
Pick eyeglass or sunglass, choose your lens type and options, and enter your prescription. Before anything is cut, a human reads it. Odd axis values, transposed numbers, an expired script: this is where they get caught.
Pack your frames and ship them to the lab. Tracking covers the trip in both directions, so you can watch them the whole way.
Technicians laser-cut your new lenses, fit them to your frame, inspect the finished pair, and ship everything back to you.
We offer lens colors for every style and every kind of light. Pick yours, and we cut it to your prescription in our US lab.
Cuts the glare that bounces off roads, water, and car hoods. If you drive, fish, or spend whole days outside, pick this.
Darkens in sunlight, clears up indoors, and lives in everyday eyeglasses as often as anything else. One pair covers the commute, the desk, and the walk home. Nine Transitions colors, gray through purple.
Color availability depends on your lens and prescription type. You'll see your options when you order.
Three coatings that many shops sell as add-ons. Included on every lens we cut, at no extra cost.
Kills the glare that makes screens and oncoming headlights hard on your eyes.
Blocks UV across the lens, clear or tinted. Sun damage does not wait for sunny days.
A hardened layer that shrugs off keys, pockets, and everyday handling.
Most replacement shops cut one house lens and stop there. We also stock optical-grade blanks from the lens makers opticians already trust, then laser-cut them to your prescription in our US lab. You choose whose glass goes in your frame when you order.
German optics since 1846, with the same discipline that grinds glass for surgical microscopes and cinema cameras.
Tokyo lens maker since 1941 and one of the largest optical manufacturers in the world.
The company that made photochromic a household word, in their newest generation, Gen S.
Inspected by the same technicians as everything above. The value pick, without the name on it.
One honest note before you order. Custom lenses are cut for your eyes alone, so lenses made to a script you typed wrong are yours to keep. If the mistake is ours, we remake the lenses. Full stop.
So double-check your numbers against your latest prescription. And if you want a second set of eyes, our team will read your script with you before you order: support@visionglobaldirect.com.
Most metal and acetate frames take new lenses without trouble. Rimless, heavily wrapped, or unusual frames sometimes need a closer look. Send us a photo and we will tell you before you ship anything.
You ship your frames to the lab. We log them on arrival, a technician reviews your prescription, your lenses are cut and fitted, and the finished pair ships back to you with tracking.
Your finished pair ships back within 10–14 days of your frames arriving at the lab. Add shipping time each way: 10–14 business days standard or 6–9 business days express within the US.
Custom prescription lenses can't be returned or refunded: they are cut for your eyes alone and can't be reused. Non-prescription lenses can come back within 45 days, unused and in original condition. If the error is ours, we remake the lenses at no cost to you, covered by the 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects. A prescription that changes after you order counts as a new order, not a return.
Tell us as soon as you catch it. If your lenses are not cut yet, we fix the numbers and carry on. If they are, the policy is firm: lenses cut to the numbers you entered are yours to keep. That is why we ask you to double-check your script, and why a technician reads every prescription before cutting.
