Feather Fit
The light one. Slim bio-plastic and acetate fronts with thin temples, built for people who forget they're wearing glasses and want to keep it that way. ROY O, ROY R and ROY S are listed at 11 g. JEAN+ comes in at 7 g.
CARIN's own glasses ship with demo lenses: plain plastic that holds the frame's shape in transit and isn't made for daily wear. The usual next step is a trip to a local optician, who may or may not want to work on a frame they didn't sell.
We skip that step. Choose single vision, progressive, bifocal or readers when you order. We cut the lenses to your frame in our US lab, fit them, check them, and ship the finished pair. Prescription orders take 10 to 14 days. Rather keep your own optician? Order the frame only.

All titanium, in shapes that barely register on the face. LIKA, TEO and NORMAN are listed at 7 g, which makes this the line to start with if you've had red marks on your nose from heavier frames.

More presence. Acetate rims, often paired with metal details, in shapes like AINO, ARNO and DENSE. These are the frames that do some of the talking.
CARIN designs its everyday frames for Asian facial features, and that's the reason many people outside Korea search for the brand. Standard frames often slide down the nose or rest on the cheeks when you smile. Each CARIN product page lists lens width, lens height, bridge and temple length, so you can compare them against a pair you already own before you order.
Yes. Every CARIN frame on this page can be ordered with prescription lenses from our US lab. Single vision starts at $29 and progressive at $99, on top of the frame.
No. CARIN's FAQ states it does not offer prescription lenses. Its glasses come with demo lenses, with an optional blue-light upgrade.
CARIN says its everyday frames are designed for a comfortable fit on Asian facial features. Fit still varies by person and frame, so compare the bridge and lens measurements on each product page with glasses that fit you now.
CARIN was founded in Seoul, South Korea, in 2014. Manufacturing location varies by frame.
