Built into the frame.

Meta AI

Say “Hey Meta” and ask about whatever is in front of you: a landmark, a menu in another language, a plant on the trail. The answer plays through the speakers in the arms, so your phone stays in your pocket and your hands stay free.

Capture

A 12 MP camera sits in the frame and records 3K video at 30 fps. Press the capture button or ask out loud, and the shot is taken at eye level, the way you saw it. Photos and clips wait in the Meta AI app until you want to share them.

Listen

Two open-ear speakers in the arms play music, podcasts and calls without shutting out the street around you. Six microphones on Gen 3, five on Gen 2, pick up your voice clearly for calls, messages and commands.

Controls

Speak, tap or press. “Hey Meta” handles most things hands-free, the touchpad on the arm covers the rest, and the capture button takes a photo in one press. Gen 3 adds an action button you can set to the shortcut you use most.

Battery

Gen 3 runs up to 9 hours of mixed use and Gen 2 up to 8. The charging case holds up to 50 more hours for Gen 3 and 40 for Gen 2, and a Gen 3 pair gets back to 50% in about 20 minutes.

Meta AI app

Pair the glasses with the Meta AI app on your iPhone or Android phone to import photos and video, change settings and connect WhatsApp, Messenger and Spotify. Setup takes a Meta account and an internet connection.

What's the difference between Gen 3 and Gen 2?

Both take 12 MP photos and record 3K video. Gen 3 lasts longer, up to 9 hours against 8, and its charging case holds up to 50 more hours against 40. It also adds a sixth microphone, room for 1,000+ photos instead of 500+, and an action button you can set to a shortcut. Gen 2 has the newer Wi-Fi 6E standard and more frame choices, including two Optics styles drawn for clear lenses.

Can I get them with my prescription?

Yes. Every frame here can be ordered with prescription lenses. Choose Prescription under Lens on the product page and enter your details. Lenses come from ZEISS, Hoya and Transitions, and prescription orders are FSA and HSA eligible.

Which frames come with Transitions lenses?

Several Gen 3 colorways ship with Transitions lenses that darken in sunlight. Look for “Transitions” in the color name on the product page. Transitions is also available as a prescription lens option.

What do I need to use them?

A Meta account, the Meta AI app, and a compatible iPhone or Android phone with an internet connection. You need to be 13 or older. Some features vary by country.

How long does the battery last?

Gen 3 runs up to 9 hours of mixed use, with up to 50 more hours from a fully charged case. A Gen 3 pair reaches 50% in about 20 minutes. Gen 2 runs up to 8 hours, with up to 40 more from the case. Real battery life depends on how you use them.

Is a charging cable included?

No. The box holds the glasses, the charging case, a cleaning cloth and a quick start guide. Ray-Ban ships the line without a cable to reduce waste, so use one you already have.

How do I pick a size?

Check a pair you already wear. Inside the temple arm you’ll find numbers like 50□22: the first is the lens width in millimeters. Each frame lists its lens width, and the Wayfarer comes in two sizes.

What is your return policy?

Non-prescription orders can be returned within 45 days, unused and in original condition. Prescription orders are made to your details, so they can’t be returned for prescription or PD errors, a different frame choice or a change of mind. Every order is covered by our 12-month warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

Every order carries a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects, including lens fabrication errors and coating failure. If something is wrong on our side, we remake or replace it.

Is shipping free?

Yes, on orders over $90.
